Pediatric Dentistry Fort Collins – Teenage Smoking
Teens who smoke are a heartbreaker for me. I don’t see teenagers who are regular smokers anywhere near the national reported average of 20%. Maybe that’s because my pediatric dental office is in Fort Collins, a very healthy town. Fort Collins Pediatric Dentistry – Do Dental Xrays for Children Cause Cancer?
Well, it has been pretty quite lately in the world of pediatric dentistry, so I guess we were due for a controversy. Last week the publication Cancer put out a study that suggested a correlation between the most common type of artificial radiation, dental xrays, and the most common type of benign brain tumor, meningioma. In Fort Collins and in Denver at a class I happened to be at, this study set off a firestorm among dentists. Did you read the study? Is that true? We are being blamed for what? The parents in my Fort Collins pediatric practice were much more calm, ( I just love Fort Collins). Boy, sure different than last year- sure better too since fishin’ season is in full swing. Oh, that’s a different blog. Big Grins in April looks exciting. The staff just got back from a little team building in Mexico (read LAZY!)
